Update help needed
I've tried to update my comic ystonia.comicgenesis.com for three weeks now and it won't update. The last page it shows is 11/03/06. The pages are uploaded into the ftp server under the public folder but they're just not updating on the web. Help?

Check and make sure you have the auto-uploading feature turned on. (I know, it sounds obvious, but the last time I didn't have an update go through I checked that and somehow it got turned off.)
Also, if you want them on separate pages for the dates they were originally loaded for, you can do that and autokeen will load everything up to the current date. Otherwise, if they're all today's date, they'll all be together on one page.
Hope that was some help. ^_^

If you simply uploaded them to workspace/comics (where they belong), you need to either wait 24 hours for the automatic updater to check your account for updates or trigger a regular manual update in the siteadmin (http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com).

And now I've been getting a 403 forbidden error. Any suggestions?

Yikes. You haven't moved you indextemplate.html from the workspace folder or anything, have you? Can you still get into your ftp all right? Try reuploading your indextemplate and running an index update in siteadmin.
Make sure your images are in a recognized format--jpeg, gif, or png are best--and that your comics really are in your workspace/comics folder. If you need to, rename them so the jpg/gif/png tags are lowercase (sometimes the updater gets finicky about caps) and run a regular update.

Take your indextemplate.html and dailytemplate.html out of workspace/webpages and put them STRAIGHT into workspace. All other pages go into workspace/webpages, but indextemplate.html and dailytemplate.html go in workspace and not into a sub-folder.
The comic for 20061130 appears on your currently misplaced indextemplate.html, so I figure that once you've put that page back where it belongs, everything should be peachy.
ETA: Black Sparrow = Post Stealer!
Oh, one last tip: your comic image is HUGE. Resize it, it's barely readable in its current size. Whatever program you use should have a "save for web" or "save optimized" feature that allows you to tinker with the image size.
