There's a lot of cool stuff deep in the ocean. Watch the documentary "Deep Blue."

As a matter of fact, that sounds the very definition of cool.

Heh, yeah, that's pretty cool.

Seriously though, there is neat stuff. At depths where there is no light at all, you can find weird creatures that make their own lights. They look like space ships.

And your pillow?

Also, I don't like Penny Arcade and Megatokyo, but my taste in comic doesn't appear to be dominant around here.

...

And while I can understand why some people like PA, I think that anyone who likes MT has really lowered his standards.

I believe that Neko in particular s MT, though I'm not too sure about his feelings about Penny Arcade.

And hey, one thing you have to give Fred Gallagher is that he can draw awesome backgrounds. They're actually a lot better drawn than his characters...

I completely agree with you on that.

It's because he used to be an architect or something before quitting to work on MT full time. His backgrounds ARE good, but his people are all ping-pong ball heads.

You know, if you put it that way, it explains why I want to bat them all over the head! :x

And we haven't even started talking about the story/writing...

I like both, but as the muppet says, mt is only a sometimes food.

Honestly, i just read anymore for the vague hope of mayhem and destruction.

I read MT religiously... is it really such a crime?

One word of advice I forgot to mention for n00bs; don't post in the 'worn out by webcomics' thread. If you are new here, you are not worn about by webcomics :P

I'll put up those two profiles later today. Most likely Mercury Hat + War. That is all for now.

I have a creeping suspicion that this guy is Mooman.

Though, as much as we'd want to, Neko's opinion doesn't represent forum's.

Oh dear god, so that's where I've been wrong all the time! All this time I've been working on figures drawing, writing, characterisation, plotting, page layout, inking, etc... and all I had to do to make a good comic was draw good backgrounds! Oh woe is me! :P

don't forget Japanese backgrounds, that's key.

I actually drew a framed picture of a box of pocky in the background once. It was on the wall at a mexican restaurant called "Otaku Bell." It was next to a katana and a piece of sushi.
