well, it was up to one coin-toss and a majority vote, either way, alliance isn't that bad, come burning crusade, it'll be more balanced

More balanced? I'm horde, and I got my arse handed to me in Alterac Valley Constantly last night.

Nothing whatsoever to do with me only being level 51...

The Horde is allergic to winning in Alterac Valley. Horde can own Warsong Gulch but not even an act of God can get them a win in AV. I wonder how that will change after both sides get shamans and paladins?

I just won Alterac Valley twice in a row. Horde rools.

At least on my server that is. It probably helps that horde outnumber alliance by about 2 to 1 in neptulon, but whaddayagonnado?

Really the success of the battlegrounds is largely dependent on the alliance/hoarde ratio, and the quality of the gamers who play them

the latter really works in dungeons, like the newbie hunter or warlock who can't keep their pet in check and attracts aggro from every which way..

i tell ya folks, if this works the way i hope it does, Sort and Gianna are gonna have a lot of material to source from because of our collective hijinks. :D

I love both horde and alliance and often have characters on both sides which I keep at comparable level. It's really fun to see certain quests done from both sides of the faction divide.

hey, Turnsky! Hubby and I have created alliance characters on Ysblahblah server! We are mighty level 5 dwarves. Look for Priestess Dorcas (me) and Hunter Thorall (him).

Have you a guild charter that needs signing? Are we for sure going to be Doombees? Since we are inviting outside Cgen, are we open to suggestions for a new guild name? I suggest "Comical Horde Relief"... and our tabard being a jester, if they have one.

Ah, Turnsky, I rerolled a druid with the same name as the hunter I had, so when anyone's on, look for a druid named Kilre!

well, the name can be changed quite easily at this stage.

"doombees" is a placeholder name at the moment, i'd like to hear the opinions of others before we make it all perma-like..

"webcomickers alliance" ?

Y'know, I remember waaaaaaay back in The Day when "Doombees" was first unleashed on an unwitting populace. "It's a stupid joke!" they said. "It'll never last!" they said. "You'll all get tired of it soon enough and we'll never hear about it again!" they said.

Well, it's nearly a year and a half later . . . and they were dead wrong!

DOOMBEES FOREVER!!!

okay, folks who have signed, disregard this for now, (IVstudios and Kilre)
(as well as those poor folks who are stuck on the european side)
the rest, listen up, other than Swikan and her spouse, i haven't had much in the way of hands being raised, so i'm bumping this topic in an effort to drum up support.. and you folks from cornstalker, and drunkduck, if you can make mention of my efforts on your forums to drum up support for this (and names, hopefully) or even foster the ideas in other games, that'd be great, too..

also, if folks can tell me what time they'd be on, that'd be wonderous, thanks.

Hmm... Okay, so we have something running for WoW and City of...whatever that game's called now.

How about we extend it out of the MMORPG thing, and get something running for the shoot-em up fans amongst us? Namely, Counter-strike Source.

Clans are much less structured for those kinda things, so much less organisation is needed. Basically, it'd involve people playing on the same servers now and again, and it'd just be a chance to play with (or against) other webcomickers.

If anybody thinks they'd be interested in it, then say so briefly, and I'll put up a seperate thread for it.

Hubby is already in a close-knit counterstrike group and I am not a shoot-em-up fan. So sorry, Rickford!

Turnsky, Kilre, et al.: Dorcas and Thorall are up to mighty level 12 and are currently a-questing in Thelsamar/Loch Modan. We are likely to be on in the evenings (USA Central Time), especially weekend evenings.

my 60 main on Staghelm only has group quests left, so I'm sure I'll play cheekygoblin off and on this week.
