My web comic (originally an entry to tokyopops RSOM competition) just ended its run on the web, but that’s hopefully just the beginning…
You see after this comic was picked up to be in anthology At Purrsia Press. A small company called Umbraprojects wants me to put a team together (team already in place) and independently print a five part series.
Now… I don’t know the first thing about independently printing a book… so I can sure use some the help and advice from you guys. This title can use all the support from other web-comicers it can get…
First priority for independendent publishing? Make sure you don't give up the copyright for it or the creative rights for it or the characters within it. ^_~ Of course, I've only done self-publishing work, but that's some advice I can offer.
Great artwork, by the way.
Quote of the Moment: “Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives.” ~Criswell~
I still hold the rights to everything... but I did ask the artist and writer go wild...I mean I have to approve but they let go crazy, but not to crazy. know what I mean. I guess I just what them to feel comfortable or something. I want them to make the characters their own and grow attached to them.
