I like the description you gave for your comic. It sounds like the story could be very entertaining if done right.

Your art is nice. You have a good style, and I look forward to seeing it when it's more developed. Some things I like are your sound effects and title. The way the title looks it reminds me of the old TMNT comics. I mean, besides the ninja part. NOt sure what though, its probably just me.

However, a few things you could improve on would be the facial expressions. Right now they aren't very...expressive, and they almost always look pretty much the same. There are a few tweaks here and there showing a little bit of emotion, but you should try to improve on that a bit more.

Another thing is your images are a bit lacking on quality. They come out grainy, making your otherwise neat lettering alot of the time unreadable. You may be able to fix that by scanning at a higher resolution, not to sure. Deffinately look into how you can fix that though, illegibilty will turn off alot of potential readers.

Also, your still using the plain old defualt comic genesis site template. You can get some premade ones at http://gear.comicgenesis.com/ in the cadets manual section under template library, if you don't want to mess around with html.

Please don't take offense to any of the comments I made, I'm just trying to give some constructive criticism so that you can improve cosmetically what already is a nice looking comic.

no offence taken. i welcome all opinions!

my scans are pretty big - whats the best way to resise them, i used photo-editor and thats what made them grainy. help please! i could go back to the big ones but they only fit on a 1280 by 1024 pixel screen - can i leave that big! (how many people have smaller?)

it does get alot better, i'm busy drawing chapter 10 and it's a far cry from the first few art-wise, although the NINJA GIRLS themselves always have a pretty darn happy disposition!

the TNMT thing was on purpose, i started the NINJA GIRLS two years ago after reading the first four turtles comics for the first time and they are what inspired me to get off my ass and draw something! the 'ninja' in the title and the logo where both homage - i'm glad someone noticed! yay!

hope you continue reading! (an help with the resize thing)!

I have to say that the drawing style will only get awesomely better. The only negative thing I have to say anything about is the... lack of design for the site itself.... the presentation if you will. But the comic is looking good.

Scan in black and white, change it to grayscale and reduce the size. You can also use Photoshop's "Save For Web" option once you've reduced the pixel size in order to reduce the file size still more, if you use Photoshop. You can get the art surprisingly small--I draw my comics at 11 x 5.5 inches and reduce them to about 800 x 350 pixels (over five times smaller when scanning at 300 dpi) without problems.

You do have a good sense of style. The story doesn't seem to really grab me though.

I think the only thing that I could suggest would actually be smaller pages, but then again I normally read "daily funnies" style comic strips, so take that with a grain of salt.

thanks for the kind words!

About the stiory: keep in mind that the the first four chapters are me attempting to learn how to actually make a comic so alot of the ideas and conceptsare underdevelopmented. good news though: i did get better!

from next month i'll be putting an entire story up every month (nine updates) - i'm busy drawing 10 (apr 2007 issue), so i won't ever miss an update (i hope)

give it another shot! it'll be worth it! and the girls will really appretiate it!

Almost reminds me of the canned TV show called Charmed.

weird, you're the second person to say that! is that an insult or compliment? cause charmed was a seriously crappy tv show, mostly because of execution! why is it similar? i would lovvve to know!

i thought it's more like totally spies meets buffy the vampire slayer! (but then what do i know - i draw it - you outside perspective's probably more acurate)

thanks for the commnets, hope you liked it

Your comic is about three young women fighting mystical demons. I never really whatched charmed, but I'm pretty sure charmed was three young women fighting mystical stuff as well.

the ninja girls are schoolgirls. they are adventurers but they don't have powers or any wiccan stuff (which is why i dislike charmed - wiccan stuff is ridiculous). ninja girls fight evil, demons and stuff like that but never using magic like spells and stuff.

not that i mind any comparisons. and the three girls thing seems to be the clincher. although more charlies angels sometimes. i dunno?

did you like it though?
