My 100th strip (Out There)

Post by Rcmonroe »

It'll be up this Thursday (September 5). I'm announcing it early because I don't want anybody hurting themselves in the crush (yeah, I'm expecting MEGA-traffic for this one). Please read responsibly.

::edit:: scrap that it looks like I'm wrong.

Gratz on 100 strips.

100 strips AND made rkolter wrong!? You've achieved the impossible! Well... improbable! Well... infrequent.
Good show!

You are wrong about this, and your apology is accepted (I've never posted this kind of thread, anywhere).

Now it's my turn to apologize, so I'll say I'm sorry I posted in the wrong thread. In my defense, I've seen people post these kinds of threads in General Discussion before (in fact there was one on the front page when I posted mine).

Feel free to move this to wherever it should be posted. Telling me where that is (rather than just scolding me) may have been a more appropriate response.

Okay, now I'm confused; is it okay to post milestone announcements here or not?

Oh, and thanks. You too, Thatguy.

Heh.

I thought you were the guy who came on infrequently and posted big major announcements about his comic for no reason, thinking GD was his personal forum. Ok... there are people who do that, but there's one in particular who did it a lot.

And you aren't him. So I cleared out my scold and replaced it with a kudos. Happy 100! :D

Thanks. And fear not, no harm was done… mistakes are made all the time, occassionally even by people who aren't me.

On a posting-for-no-reason note, I just noticed that my second post in this thread (the one where I'm bitching like some pathetic martyr-complex loser) was my 100th post. Oh, the irony.

Congrats! :D

I love "Out there" and read it frequently. It's my kind of comic. One day when I have time I'll make you fanart. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Cookie. Fanart from you would be a great honor. Glad you're updating your strip again. Whether it's the Grind or some other inspiration, it's good to see.

Well don't these big milestones just sneak up on you, eh? Congratulations on the current achievement. I get the feeling it's only just started though, eh?

Push on to the double century now.

Cheers.
