I've been meaning to do a portable typewriter / laptop conversion, with the typewriter case opening up and having the screen, with a laptop touchpad and the typewriter itself providing the input devices. I just need to find a suitable machine.

I've been thinking I should get myself a typewriter. If I'm sitting down to really write something, I try to edit too much in my head before I start typing. If I am forced to actually write it out, I might do better at holding off the editing stage till I actually have something written.
