Missing archive

Post by Princess »

A big chunk of my archive is suddenly missing- what happened? Nothing works after the 20th of October 2005

(It was all there before, I swear!)

Are the comics still in public_html/comics ?

If so, try re-uploading a copy of dailytemplate.html and triggering a regular manual update.

If not, upload them again to workspace/comics, then trigger a regular manual update. Though they shouldn't disappear just for kicks.

The comics are in the public html/comics folder, but there is no sign of any of the daily pages past 2005-10-28.

I tried re-uploading the daily template, but it hasn't seemed to have worked.

I tried to update my comic today, but the update hasn't shown up yet- the site admin states my last update was 2005-10-28 00:00:00.

-thank you for your help though

:)

I'm having a similar problem on Lab Bratz.

The comics seem to exist in my Public/comics folder, but not in my public/d folder. I don't remember how to fix that...

More fun than you should ever have in a laboratory. We are not related to the Bratz toy line owned by MGA.

This is one of the rare times you can run a full update. Do so on an empty queque. If they still don't appear, let us know here with your comic's username or .comicgenesis.com URL and we'll take a look.

It's okay now!

I dragged the missing comics to my workspace/comics and ran a full update, and 5 minutes later they appeared in the Public/d and they show up online.

Cool.

Now I can sleep.

the archive, it's working again. :D

but when I run a full update the pages go away again! I have to run a full update to update my comic, because I have a warning page (my latest comic displays on index2.html, not index.html like normal comics)

You had a /workspace/webpages/dailytemplate.html file. It needed to be in /workspace only. Moved.

Try it now.
