Lo jack
Seriously, Quentyn needs to invest in a lo-jack or something.
You can fool some of the people all of the time
And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Ralph explained elven "society" to us last night. From the sound of things, she might actually be one of the better-behaved half-elves.
It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. - attributed to Samuel Adams
“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” - Richard Henry Lee

I'm going to take a wild guess...Celidah the Bardess wrote:Reminds me of a beautiful line I once heard: "I'm not a complete idiot, I'm only a half-wit!" (Big points for getting the reference.)
The Tenth Kingdom? That guy who was in charge of the wishing well?
Dirk: What's that?

Who is to say he hasn't? She never got beyond visual range, so he wouldn't need any such, and it would have been easy enough for him to get someone to copy Nessie's doll-locator button spell...squirrelly61104 wrote:Seriously, Quentyn needs to invest in a lo-jack or something.

I guess this would also show that she is a thief.
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

Re: Lo jack
Except that Nessie is a kenning prodigy... she can ken for miles, where most Rac'Cona can only ken to bowshot distance (at best). She could ken Quentyn because she'd met him before; he's literally incapable of producing as powerful a kenning as Nessie (at least without training), and doesn't have a link to the elf anyway. (Heck, the only reason he could ken Wildcard at a distance is because he's bonded to it.)DracoDei wrote:Who is to say he hasn't? Interesting point...
Humans have five fingers on each hand.
Elves have four. Even if they are half-elves.
