I just noticed that the guy with the popeye forearms has a hand that is considerably larger than Quentyn's head. That's got to be scary.

Who is to say he hasn't? She never got beyond visual range, so he wouldn't need any such, and it would have been easy enough for him to get someone to copy Nessie's doll-locator button spell...

Except that Nessie is a kenning prodigy... she can ken for miles, where most Rac'Cona can only ken to bowshot distance (at best). She could ken Quentyn because she'd met him before; he's literally incapable of producing as powerful a kenning as Nessie (at least without training), and doesn't have a link to the elf anyway. (Heck, the only reason he could ken Wildcard at a distance is because he's bonded to it.)
