The subject line pretty much says it. I've scoured the help forum, the wiki, and the Tagtorial (I will feel like a completel idiot if the answers are obvious and I've missed them).
I've spent a dawdling afternoon creating a 150w x 300h banner for my comic. I've added the ***newsbox*** code to my main page.
* Is there a maximum file size for the newsbox image?
* Where do I upload/put the newsbox image now that I have one?
* Is it really all that bad to use a semi-dressed goddess in my newsbox pic, after all, I just got an image in the newsbox on my site of a view up a gal's skirt, and to be fair semi-dressed goddesses do appear at least twice though most of the time it's just Romans in skirts, so, anyway, just if you can help with those two questions above, please.
Many thanks.

Re: Newsbox: maximum file size? and what do I do with it?
It's considered polite to keep it under 50kb, but that doesn't appear to be a hard, fast rule. Over 100kb would definitely be pushing it, though.spqrblues wrote:* Is there a maximum file size for the newsbox image?
Login to siteadmin and click the "Your comic" Promo/Banner/Newsbox/Pog/Chan images link. Simply upload and wait for approval.* Where do I upload/put the newsbox image now that I have one?
That's kind of subjective; it depends on how racy someone might consider it. Keep in mind that your newsbox won't be appearing on sites with a lower rating than your comic.* Is it really all that bad to use a semi-dressed goddess in my newsbox pic, after all, I just got an image in the newsbox on my site of a view up a gal's skirt, and to be fair semi-dressed goddesses do appear at least twice though most of the time it's just Romans in skirts, so, anyway, just if you can help with those two questions above, please.

Again, thanks for the help, and my image has been approved, yay.
Considering my own comic, I probably shouldn't be such a prude (I've tried to be careful about the ratings on my comic, since it has shown an "artist's model" level of nudity). But on my front page I often see that newsbox image that originally put me off. It's a big ol' crotch shot that really, really bothers me. Because I am a prude. A big ol' prude who draws a comic with semi-dressed ancient Romans lounging around at decadent parties. Go figure.
Is my only option just to take the Newsbox off my page? I want to support other webcomics, so it's likely I won't. But. I did have to ask. My semi-dressed goddess is absolutely demure compared to that one.
