I tried the facial hair thing once. It looked kind of weird, because my head hair is brown but my facial hair is red. Then somebody asked me if I am a "firecrotch". HAHAHA!

Bugger that for a game of soldiers. My sister keeps telling me to grow a flavour saver, but I keep resisting her because I'm pretty sure she's doing it to make me look stupid.

And besides...the kids don't need much of an excuse to take the piss out of me...a goatee would give them a field day.

Speaking as someone who is able to grow nothing but a goatee, if you can go for the whole kaboodle, go for it. Then you can shape it into amusing fashions and dye it purple whilst riding around the world on a motor-trike.

I'm actually getting one of my main characters to record a beard diary IRL.
Hairy Joe. That'll be fun.

I've had a goatee. Shaved it.

I've had a moustache. Shave it.

I've had a full head of hair. All but shaved it.

Short hair means better heat venting!

Whew... Sorry if I missed anybody.

From a female standpoint, I personally think they're pretty sexy. Few chins wouldn't benefit from a goatee (there are exceptions, of course). From a male standpoint, Stinky says that his keeps his face cool in the summer heat, because if he wets down his face, the goatee holds water.

Ewww, I was all dirty and greasy in that pic because I was on a plane.

I started growing mine because I could. I went to a Jesuit high school so we couldn't have any facial hair at all. Now if I don't have it, I don't feel right; I call it my exclamation point.

If you trim it, it won't look pubic.

My mum forced me to shave off my 'tace for a wedding (during the summer holidays me and my friends have a facial growth contest :P)

Trust me, if you get a goatee, keep it. Because you'll shave it off, and you'll fumble for something on your face to stroke, but damnit, that Gillete 3 left NOTHING.

Oh, and I guess it goes without saying, but I hope you have a "shape" in mind. Facial hair is both cool and unpredictable.

I've had a moustache-goatee combination for years, but if it was one of those that didn't go up to the bottom lip I probably wouldn't keep it. I don't like how they look.

Best when the hair shorter than 1-2 inchs from the skin, longer than that and it starts to get messed up a lot, particularly with the moustache. For world domination however, a longer length like that goes well. With a bit of gel you can curl the moustache, and then all you need is a monocle and a nice looking suit, and you're all set. Top-hat and cane optional.

try it, you can always shave it off later.

...and it would rock if you dyed it blue.

I still think facial hair is evil. Seeing as how all our resident mad scientists have one, I think I've been proved right.

Keep in mind, some girls might not wanna have anything to do with a goatee. Don't get me wrong, there are those that love men with facial hair, but there are also those that just find it to be too scratchy.

and there are women who find fat guys attractive and women who find skinny guys attractive and same goes with just about any generic trait.

I'm workin' on a chinstrap right now... but it's pretty thin. Well, I'm only fifteen, so it's no real surprise. I'm with the guy who enjoys facial-hair fondling, though.

Sounds like... well, every other fifteen-year-old guy I know. I like facial hair, but only if it's done right. It can be gross and wierd looking.
