His first priority should be to find a good place to land, and set up camp, hopefully, with some means of hiding the ship.

But he took off from Freeman Downs, about an hour after sunrise, flew to Sanctuary City, tailed by the sail wagon all the way, then turned east, reaching the mist wall about an hour before sunset.
