I've been trying to get this info from the keenspace guide and looking through old posts, but nothing definitively tells me what a Newsbox is for? SO I've been seeing rectangular boxes on comicgen sites which alternate images and I'm guessing that's the newsbox. I also know about the dimensions that'll get the newsbox accepted but I don't have the following info:
1). Whats the point?
2). How do you animate them like that? Is there a special way on photoshop?
Newsbox- what is it and how does it help me?

1) The Point: Shared advertising between Comic Genesis comics.
2) No idea. I haven't done a newsbox yet because I'm too lazy to learn how to make it animated.

1) See previous post
2) Just do it the way you'd make an ordinary animated gif* and make sure it's the right dimensions and everything.
*Make an animation in Flash and save it as a gif animation, or make seperate frames (in photoshop or paint or what have you) and use a share/freeware gif editor to put the frames together as a gif.
