Site will just not update

I feel your pain. I'm having the same problem at <A HREF="http://nearsighted.keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>http://nearsighted.keenspace.com</A> Any help would be appreciated!------------------

I got my account yesterday morning, uploaded some stuff, designed the template, and threw it in there. Ever since then, I've been trying to make AutoKeen update the frigging thing. It just won't do it. My index.html is still that placeholder one that they put there when the account is opened, mockingly informing me that my site is coming soon, and I should please wait... <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> Any ideas?!

I threw about 31 comic files into the /workspace/comics directory, and an indextemplate.html & dailytemplate.html file into the /workspace directory. That's it. Any ideas?------------------

I did the same, only it was one comic with a filename of 20010701.jpg ... I've tried full-site and index-only, both to no avail.

Most common error that might cause this problem: you have a copy of index or indextemplate in your workspace/webpages folder. If this is the case delete it, as it will overwrite your workspace/indextemplate.html when you update.Second most common error: You ddin't save the file or update the most current file or didn't run a manual update. Third most common error: Aliens from grzblech have stolen your viscera.------------------

Yeah, okay, I already *did* that before I posted the last message.. all of that is fine. Upped one indextemplate.html and one dailytemplate.html file into the workspace directory, one comic into the workspace/comics directory, went into Site Management, did a manual update, waited 10 minutes, checked the site. I've done the same several times. Nothing. I'm feeling very disappointed.
