Hey, guys.
Stranger in Brown has been running for many months now, and I've come to a point where I think some real criticism would be very helpful. If you're a reader of the story, I would LOVE to hear your feedback. If you once did but stopped reading it, why? What do you like, or dislike? Interpretations? At least one thing to improve on for every two good things would be appreciated, since constructive criticisms can sometimes be the most useful.
I hope you're enjoying the story. There will not be an update this week, but look for one soon. Thanks!

Re: Stranger in Brown
Well, you already know that I'm reading it (and missing "Blossoming Jasmine"... I sure wish the author would give us more of that story!) but since you asked, I have to admit it's interesting just from a conceptual standpoint to look at Yiffburg in text-only mode. I'm so used to having Kat's episodes in ful color that just reading about Kit & Kay is a novel experience (pun intended).W. Tungsten wrote:Hey, guys.

Firstly, thank you, Dazmarne, for your criticism!
Theft. It is alleged at this point, but completely intentional. I talked with Kat about it before I actually introduced it, and we agreed that this is only a Fanfiction, and I assured him I had a plan. I understand it's a major notion, but that is an element I intended to bring into the story from the very beginning.
I'm glad you're laughing! Vaughan is a good example of what eccentricity is to me, but he's a lot more, too. I even laugh, myself, sometimes at some of the things Vaughan says and the way he handles certain situations. I enjoy him too, and that's partly what keeps me motivated in the writing process.
Still, the story isn't just about Vaughan, nor do I see him as a main character.
Ha! No, the climax hasn't happened yet. I have often read over Stranger in Brown and thought "Man! this sure is taking a long time!" But any time I try to speed things up, it seems rushed, implausible, and a lot of opportunities get missed. The story is currently over fifty pages in length and growing, so it's best to take the story like you would a novel. Don't worry, the climax is coming and It will be a doozy! Everything to that point has been building up to it.

looks to be a good story but poor kit. 100 bugers? my limite is around 50 box bugers.
the darkness is ever present even in the light.
the perversion doesn't stop just because the sun comes up
if i can make people think and consider their lives even for a moment each day then my life has just that much more meaning
one of the hardest skills i seek to master is the skill of knowing when to shut up
