Supersquirrel?

Post by Doink »

Now I'm not one to complain about a raccoon overdose, but why is PFC Ed Abbott drawn as a raccoon, and yet is referred to as Supersquirrel? Other than that, I think it's a find drawing for a man in uniform.
Both a heart and a brain are necessary for survival. Without one, the other will quickly perish.

"I can say—not as a patriotic bromide, but with full knowledge of the necessary metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political and aesthetic roots—that the United States of America is the greatest, the noblest and, in its original founding principles, the only moral country in the history of the world." - Ayn Rand

Why can't you be like all the other soldiers?
You got big pointy ears like the other soldiers.
Irk!
Well, you've got soft fluffy fur like the other soldiers.
Uhmm..
Well, you got a big, fluffy tail like... like...

Holy cats! We enlisted a raccoon!
:o :o :o
You can fool some of the people all of the time
And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Now, now, he passed all the entrance requirements. Remember, the modern army is inclusive and non-racist.

So let's put him to work testing the fuses on artillery shells! 8-)

Congrats, Supersquirrel.
(I've got a friend who was tempted to create a webcomic about one "Jabba the Squirrel" -- a really fat one in a tree outside her window!)

So... Private First Class?

Is that just a pay increase, or does he get some degree of command as well?
