6-11: The Eldest
YAAAYYYYY! The comics are back! QDS has its fix for now!
Well, it looks like we have the answer to the question on how Quentyn was getting throught the mistwall. But who is this 'Eldest'? Besides someone with extraordinarily large eyebrows? It sounds like he remembers the first Quentyn. He reminds me a bit of Gandalf.

Nooo, you beat me to the first post!
on the flip side ... YAY for a new comic!
I think the eldest is just the oldest rac in the seven villages, does he hold any special position other than that? He seems to have a good memory (kinda) although i think when history repeats itself it can be a little confusing. "Didn't we just send off a Quentyn?"

I find the design of the passkey kinda neat.

Okay, the village of Freeman Downs has its Council of Elders, right? Why should it surprise us that the entire Seven Villages has a Council of Elders? And this particular racconan is the eldest of the elders, otherwise known as The Eldest.
In other words, he is the oldest racconan in all of the Seven Villages.
Should not surprise us that he knew O'Ridgedale.
And I have never seen Quentyn look so honored before.

So you need a passkey to get out of the Mistwall?
Both a heart and a brain are necessary for survival. Without one, the other will quickly perish.

Is the round thingie in the other Racconnan's hand the passkey?
And what does the Chinese looking characters at the upper commmission mean, if anything?
BTW, if the Eldest was very old and yet survived the Scarlet Plague, it is just barely possible that he was a little kit in the days of Rossad, three centuries ago.
