Way, Way, WAY Off topic - The J-Team

Post by Mjolnir »

I thought I might share this little tid bit with you guys. Some friends and I will be playing in a huge paintball game on the 10th & 11th. It's probably going to be one of the most player firendly games I've been to, so the group thought we'd make the organizers a little gift. Enjoy. :)

P.S. This is in Divx (now for the Mac, too!) format. Just go to http://www.divx.com and download the drivers if it doesn't play.

It's a real, honest to god paintball game. Should be a blast since we're inserting by helicopter (the 1st time ever in piantball history)!

where is this happening? the video mentioned New York but I would like some specifics, as well as when, what it takes to join in, how many are you expecting to join in, and can I bring a few friends along too (mostly just my brother who I think is more into paintball then I am)?

I'd hate to look like I'm chickening out or something but

600 PEOPLE!?

I'd feel nervous with just 60 people! I thought it was gonna be something along the lines of maybe 12 on 12 or something like that.

and I haven't set aside any money yet. plus it looks like it'd be on a saturday or a sunday and in New Jersey I'd probably have to spend the night somewhere so I'd want to have a ride back home (and I don't like the idea for me to be playing paintball or driving all that way on a sunday, sorry but I try to keep that day a bit more sacred) and it's only a week away, to even call off work I'd need to have two weeks advanced notice so I could give my boss two weeks advance notice.

sorry but as much as I want to go (my bro already chickened out) I'm afraid I can't right now. it was an entertaining movie though. :)

Well, since I didn't know there were any paintballers on the forum, I didn't think of posting anything earlier. My bad. I'll remember for next time, though.

If you're scared about 600, then I guess I shouldn't tell you about the Stalingrad game we were in this March. 1,500 people at that one. :D
