Phalanx was around when I joined, but that's pretty much all I know of her. She disappeared shortly after.

And McDuffies, don' talk like that. A great disturbance in the forums would resonate throughout Comic Genesis were you ever to die. Webcomics as we knew them would cease to be.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

The last time I saw Typo/Genesis_13 was at Arisia in Boston a couple years ago. We only talked for a few minutes. But afterwards I didn't see her post here anymore.

I swear, I didn't do anything to her! :shifty:

That was the day that we were hit with the largest blizzard of the year...and one of the largest we ever had. But if she's still posting on her tagboard (kinda) then it's good to see she's still OK.

Also, Chaos Cricket hasn't been around as much as he should be.

Bah. This forum would be little more than a swirling vortex from the void you would leave.

Faub's sorta still around but only talks about business. Like school, work, and marriage are really that big a deal. And then there are Phalanx and Yarps.

xnomeansnox posts in her da every now and then, posts in her LJ daily, full of teenage angsty things girls usually put online, she mentioned a while back about maybe starting her comic again, but we all know how that goes, I've commented now and then asking where she went to and she never responds ;_; Ah well, she's young.

I almost left a couple times, but for some reason I didn't.

Could still happen though in the near future though.

And besides....we'd have to get used to wearing panties again without the fear of them being stolen!

I still talk to Leko. She just graduated High School.

A lot of us just quit because it's a huge timesink. "Oh my gawd, did someone respond to my comment yet?" *check*
[Five minutes later]
"What about now?" *check*

I imagine myself as having a good amount of willpower, but I end up wasting more time waiting for pages to load and obsessively checking posts than actually talking to people on the forums... it's more efficient to call people on the phone and hang with them for a few hours in real life, or at least chat in realtime.

That said, nothing could possibly replace the myriad and wonderful community that exists here.

People should gain my awesome forum-browsing skills that allow me to visit forums three or four times a day while spending less than an hour or two alltogehter.

I have some meagre contacts, you know. Depending on how heroically you died, I might be able to put up a statue of you in Belgrade. ;)

That's not bad but as I said, I won't die.
