I read Penny Arcade. Hell, lately I've been reading PvP.

Only adds to my unhappiness with CAD by comparing them, though. Penny Arcade and PvP are comics with jokes and characters and years of evolution.

CAD is Tim Buckley's wish-fufilment Ethan-o-verse where he gets to act out all the things he would be slapped for in real life. Anything resembling a comic or a gag that follows from that is a coincidence. All characters revolve around the world of Ethan, and Ethan is an insufferable little bitch.

Penny Arcade isn't hated, only a few people including me don't like them. Their creators are sometimes hated, but as with Pvp, it's usually biggest fans of the comic who hate the comic creator.

Garfield - well, let's put it this way: I refuse to read anything that took the creator less time to create than it would me to read.

And CAD? From what I saw I completely agree with Sortelli. It's not a comic, it's internet masturbation.
