He his vixen and giant felt a leap in his heart.

Post by W. Tungsten »

Stranger in Brown, an ongoing fanwork on Kat's Fannart page, is infamous for it's typos, but this one by far takes the cake:

"He his vixen and giant felt a leap in his heart."

That's right folks, it's a sentence. When I read it, I laughed my so hard I almost cried. That whole paragraph is just a Webster's chainsaw massacre. I'll try to have a re-edited version for next week and also a slightly beefed-up version of the 7th Bit.

I'm 74, weigh 183.48, and, by the way, I'm a solid.

*blink* You'll try to have an edited version? Does that mean, then,
that you, W. Tungsten, who's all 74 except for a heart of 79, is the
author of "Stranger in Brown"? O_O

Yes, I am. I hope you're all enjoing it, typos aside.

Though I'm not sure what you mean by "a heart of 79".

I tend to look at the occasional typo as a bit of reassurance that we beings
who use all this technology are still the ones most important. Only the
devices themselves could create documents that could never, ever have
a single error - but who'd want to read them? >=)

Well, I certainly am! And I'm rather happy to have the opportunity to say thank you to the author. Vaughan is quite a character, somewhat out of sorts in Yiffburg, but then where else could his eccentricity be in such sharp relief. Keep it going, typos and all. :)

Now I must wonder if the author of the other tale I've been following ("Blossoming Jasmine") is also lurking about on the forum? <=)

You are certainly welcome! I'm always glad to hear the story is being enjoyed. ^_^d

Kat created a wonderful and rich environment to work from. His is inspiring, and my story is a homage to his creativity as well as an exploration of some ideas. It's been a fun three months, and there is more to come.
