Hm. It might be interesting, but you have to wonder how badly the constant hormone-changes would mess you up. Not to mention your self-image ... getting hit on by people of the wrong gender ... getting stuff confused ... Accident waiting to happen, possibly.

See, most problems would be avoided if it were a simple procedure, rather than an innate ability. Like, you have to walk through the Archway of Gender Transformation, or something (which would be really cool for practical jokes...).

That reminds me of this one sci-fi story I read once where a guy was convinced by his girlfriend to try out these new gender-bender suits which made it feel exactly like you were of the opposite sex... he was soon to find out after their little gender role switch and subsequent sex-play that the "temporary suit" was actually a permanent change...

I wouldn't mind being taller sometimes...heck, sometimes I'd even settle for being just a little bit shorter. I'm a little taller than average for a woman, but rather shorter than average for a man. (Hence my issues buying pants - narrow waist, long legs. I've developed a taste for baggy clothes in self-defense.) About the only thing I haven't had trouble finding in the right size was my bike, because the cycling industry very sensibly makes frames in incrementally larger sizes with adjustable parts rather than trying to fit everybody into one of three all-over categories.
