Catch us on the radio performing live.
Only a few hours until showtime. We're doing a pre-show interview on CFMU. You can listen to it online at http://cfmu.mcmaster.ca . We've been asked if we'd perform a song live on-air. This should be a hoot.
Pete's going to bring his accoustic guitar. I'll bring the Casio LD-80 digital drum pads for Dave to play and this ultra-cheesy 1970s Bontempi portable organ I bought at the Value Village this week for $10 (I'll have pictures of it later. It looks as cheesy as it sounds), we haven't figured out what we're going to do about Monica's bass yet.
Anyways, if you want to catch us playing live but can't make it to the show, tuning in to CFMU at 7pm eastern time is going to be the way to do it. It should be a real blast! I hope we don't suck ass.
Also just to let those of you traveling to the show tonight know, yet I will do free sketches of your favorite GGC characters for you between sets and after the show. Yes you can come up and talk to any of the band members between sets. Yes you may take all the photos you want. Yes you can bring a portable recording device and record the show if you want. We're totally cool with all that stuff.

Man... I kept slipping in and out of my Ottawa Valley accent throughout that interview. I was born in Pembroke up in the Ottawa Valley but grew up mostly in Simcoe which is in the south of Ontario. My dad had a very pronounced Ottawa Valley Accent which my brother and I inherited in a sort of bastardised form. Usually I keep it well under control but sometimes certain word combination and phrasings will cause me to slip and I'll actually be able to hear my own accent.
I caught myself slipping into "hoser mode" a few times on panels at I-con as well.

When I was first listening(I caught it the first time live right before you were talking about George Takei) I wasn't sure whom was who... well, I figured you weren't the girl, as i knew there was one in the band and you don't fill out a pair of suspenders in your pictures like most girls would(Note: Ideal cosplay idea for women.. just slacks and suspenders and black-frame glasses. Just, y'know, tossing the idea out there). It wasn't till you started talking about Mr. Takei that I could pick you out.
You're voice is entirely different form what I was expecting. Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting, and I feel pretty stupid that it was likely the Canadian accent that was throwing me as I'm pretty sure I've heard before you live in Canada.

Think the Unthinkable,
Do the Undoable,
"F" the Ineffable,
And Unscrew the Inscrutable.
