fairy music

Post by TMLutas »

A thought occured during the epilogue, couldn't the fairy ring phenomenon be an artistic piece in and of itself? Examine all the music brought to the rings and make connections to worlds where hearing music will cause more music to be brought. It would be a challenging art form and require a very strange being (from our perspective) to be able to perceive the full piece but fairies are nothing if not strange.

In that sort of a world, the fairies would probably view that Rac'Coonans as challenging. They don't seem to perform any music at the ring. They just listen. Fen may be the first to actually play inside the ring. I wonder if they're going to encourage him further...

Now, that would be interesting....

The rings search, randomly, for music in any plane, and reproduce it in one or more fairy rings.

But, if music is *performed* inside a fairy ring, it is heard in all fairy rings.

Can you imagine what happens if more than one civilization discovers this?

Eventually, it would be used for communication between planes, using music. But how to start off....hmmm.....

Let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.
When you read you begin with A, B, C.
When you sing you begin with...
