I didn't know we had Rac'conans here in the States.
I can't wait to try their Luftship Stack. It's supposed to just float off your plate... literally!
However, I'm not going anywhere near the Dumpster Delight :ick: . I'll leave that for Solidus.

Ask Kyvan for his spaghetti sauce recipe, and maybe he'll give you the garlic and herb pasta recipe I gave to him. :)

Sorry, I made the Chicken Tetrazini the other night. Tonight I am making Arroz Con Pollo, Saturday will be herb crusted flank steak. Working on some tilapia and pork dishes for next week.

Don't have any Italian on the radar yet, though maybe I can squeeze in an Antipasto salad. I haven't made eggplant parmesan in a while. Like eggplant?

Well, Eggplant Parmesan is hardly identifiable as eggplant, fortunately.... It's basically lasagna with slices of eggplant instead of noodles.

(Recalling the Alton Brown episode on eggplant -- eggplants have pretty much no nutritional value beyond fiber. "... So, though eggplant isn't bad for you... it isn't very good for you, either.")

Y'wanna restaurant?

Y'wanna READ?

Try this - it's in my backyard, and I only regret I can't afford regular meals there.

The Tattered Cover Book store, the biggest in Denver, and one of the biggest in the US, has its own restaurant in the main building, where you can eat and read at the same time. The menu is... *drool*.

Pity it's closing due to the Tattered Cover moving to a new building. :(

Here's hoping they'll rebuild it.

Too bad - sounds like fun! When we go on vacations we love to look up local bookstores, new and used. (probably the reason we have over 20 full bookcases around the house).

There is something contradictory, however, of reading "The Good Earth" while feasting on meat loaf.
