Understanding the numbers in the Logs.

Post by Jin-roh »

I've been examining the logs for the Uber Bean lately. Thing is, I'm not entirely sure how to interperet the data. I can examine average hits a day, but what I can't tell is if I'm actually getting a regular following or not. Is there any good way to guage that?

Check out definitions here. Basically, the ones you want to look at are "Visits" and "Sites". "Hits" doesn't really tell you much.

Don't be depressed if the numbers are lower than you want, though. It takes time and a lot of advertising to build up a fanbase.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."
