"Pollute the time stream"?!... Uh oh! So that would mean that, although you cannot change the past, you CAN change the future!
Sounds very much like the latest movie version of The Time Machine. Although I had some reserves about that one, because the past WAS being re-written several times, even if only in small ways.
The important thing here is that we can expect some MAJOR plot twists.
Time Pollution
Well, lets remember what we've learned thus far on jsut how time works.
First, We know that five years from 'now', this conversation WILL take place. his is set in fact. Now, will that really be the older Dr. Sissyphus? Will it be a clone? An android? An elaboric hologram? We don't know. All we know, is that somehow, in some mannor, this conversation will exist.
Second, While the being that appears to be the older Dr. Sissyphus says that i"It will RULE", that does not mean it is true. She may be lying, or hypnotized, or again even not really who we think she is.
Third, even if all that is being implied is somehow true (That in 5 years Dr. Sissyphus has come to rule the world, it doesn't mean that half a second after the 'now' Dr. Sissyphus leaves, that the spy guild won't break in and put an end to it all.
Honestly, in a way I'm kind of surprised at the (not so) good (not so) doctor. For someone that's so good at information gathering, this sort of information is far more burden then blessing. As of now, Sissy will be rather certain on her victory, dispite the other possibilities listed above. Further, that feeling and the knowledge that NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES, that conversation (and IE her dominion) will occour after 5 years, will breed a bit of apathy as well. After all, She can sit in her throne room and literally accomplish nothing for 5 years, and yet that conversation will still happen. Where's the fun, the FLAIR in taking over the world if you're sure to win, where's the challenge in that?
What will you see, if you look into the mirror? Even the wisest cannot tell. For the mirror shows many things...

She still has to put forth the effort. I'm sure she realizes that, if she does nothing, she can still set up a quick nanite-built throne room at the last minute and give herself false hope.

Keep in mind, what the older Sissy says, might not mean EXACTLY what the younger Sissy thinks it does. She's intentionally not doing any clarification, and for that reason, it's incredibly likely she may take away false information. I'm surprised Sissy is even trying this in fact.
