OT: Canada takes a step to the Right

Post by LoneWolf23k »

Well, it's 11:25 pm here on the Canadian East Coast, and it already looks certain that the New Majority Government of Canada will be the Conservative Party of Canada, led by Mr. Steven Harper, who will become our new Prime Minister.

Finally, after 12 long years of living under the Liberals, Canada's going to have a sensible government with good moral values.

...And hopefully, a leader with whom George Bush will have a better relationship with then with Paul Martin.

Don't count on it - the words "liberal" and "conservative" mean something entirely different in every single country on the planet. :p

American liberals screaming that Bush stole this election in 5..4....too late.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Ok, small correction: the government will be a Minority one, meaning it won't have free reign. Still better then having those corrupt Libs still in power for a Fifth term in office, though.

Mexican presidential elections, this summer. And hey, a Native American is now president of Bolivia (as is half his cabinet).

A friend of mine lives in Canada and is happy top see one person ousted from office.

One Sam Bulte was ousted from office due to her stance of taking huge campaign contributions from Hollywood in exchange for starting draconian copyright legislation much like the ones here in the USA.

Okay, you took your "step to the right".

But now you have to put your hands on your hips and bring your knees in tight.

But it's the pelvic thrust that's really important here.

It really drives you insane.
