Waist High site refurbished

Post by Rocknjosie »

Hey,
I spent the last couple days redoing my site, I'd appreciate some feedback. It's pretty obviously modeled after the CG site, but it's also not a cut and paste job.

Hey, I like this. Simple and good personality. The chalkboard background is a nice touch.

The only thing that greives me is the actual content starts VERY far down the page. With a comic like yours (a strip style comic) you can easily do away with vertical scroll bars. It makes visits to your page much more enjoyable, not having to move the content up and down to actually see it.

Otherwise, neat work

Not bad...not sure about your logo...it doesn't really fit in against the background and the white writing on the light background makes it hard to read. Otherwise perfectly acceptable stuff.

Hey, that's pretty good! I like your style; it's simple and cute, but good.

Hm... There is only one thing about it that I want you to improve on, and that's your words. I'm guessing that you put the speech bubbles in first, then your words. Put your words in first. That will give you more room. I'm a little concerned about this because I can't read it well...

And I think your website is excellent. Everything is so easy to get to. Awesome job with that.

Are you viewing it in IE? I've never looked at my site in IE before until I saw it in the library today and the bg was all messed up. I don't have IE on my computer, so I can't really test it in there.

Coupla things-

ad banner shows up twice on archive pages.

link buttons are too close to the side of the panels themselves on front page.

Yup, I'm not one of those hip Firefox or Opera users...
