PeppermintAfterlife wrote:There's this one show that I think about all the time and don't know if I'm making it up or not. It's about this teenager that when you spill hot water on him, he turns into a red sports car. I rememebr vividly in the transformation sequence that his ass turns into the back of the car, and his pockets become the tail lights. One time, a kid spilled soup on the car, and the car shot wiper fluid at him. It's from the 80's I think.

YES.
To this day, as wonderful as the movies are, the Ghostbusters in the cartoon are still the real Ghostbusters to me. It was - and still is - one of the best cartoons ever made.
At first, at least. The later episodes - after J. Michael Straczynski left the show - weren't quite as good, but still better than the majority of the junk on television.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

I just read that they'll be releasing a few DVDs with some random episodes on there. I guess that's something, but I want the full seasons, dangit!
For instance I've heard confirmed rumor that Disney fired all their 2D animators and have decided to only make 3D movies from now on because it's the hot money ticket. No respect I tell ya.
What's even worse is the movies that they want to make sound like shit. Still apparently once Pixar have finished the 7 film contract with Disney, they're going to go back to 2D. I think the head of Pixar slated Disney for forgeting that the story was an important part of animation, and that's part of the reason they want to go back to 2D, to prove it.
I was happy about that that until I saw what Pixar are making to get out of the deal, "Cars". Looks like goddamn Bugie the Little Helicopter and I'm pretty sure that was only made because it got funded by Princess Anne
Oh god, now I remembered James Bond Jr. and that horrid early 90's remake of Speed Racer when he traveled to the future to fight robots and furry cyborgs. It was hilariously retarded.

I have a friend who works for Pixar, and yes Cars is going to be bigtime horrible, but the movie they have slated next should be out of this world. As I understand it though, Pixar and Disney are no longer partners, and Disney fired their 2D animators to keep up with Pixar
I'm way too over the board. Some of my faves others hate and some of the faves I just couldn't get into...
Then again, I remember toons like Drac Pack (junior versions of the Big Movie Monsters fighting crime), Scooby Doo (why has NO ONE mentioned that one??), Monchichis (gave me nightmares for some reason), and even the Hanna-Barbera Power Hour (had some great stuff like Inhumanoids and Galtar!)...
Ohh, and that Disney afternoon lineup... with the Gummi Bears and the Rescue Rangers and that one Jungle Book alternate-universe-spinoff-thing! Ahh, good times...

"Tale Spin"?
I remember "Swat Kats" "The Adventures of Young Robin Hood" "Bump in the Night" and "Reboot" from Saturday mornings, too.
The afternoon lineup was always Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers, and there were a few others on the disney run basic TV network in LA. Tale Spin kicked arse, and had arguably the best theme song next to Tazmania, though Tazmania was a boring show.

REBOOT! I *loved* that show! I had a Bob action figure!
Yeah...I like Kim Possible; arguably one of the best cartoons I've seen in a long time. I like that some of the best episodes are the ones that focus on Ron...
Freakazoid!! <--( I Love this show like no other)
Reboot
Tiny Toons
Animaniacs
Rocko's modern Life.
Foster's home for imaginary friends. <-- (the only new Nick show I like)
Swat Cats.
Gargoyels. <--- (That show Rocked!)
The Amazing Spider man. <-(The cool one with 3D Backgrounds when he was swinging!:D)
Batman Beyond. <-- (I seemed to be the only one that liked that one)
X-Men. <- (The one that was out at the same time as the spiderman one)
...
I'll think of more later.
I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.
I used to love Cartoon Network, but now its gone to crap.
Toonami was awsome untill it got all childish, and CN used to have decent shows on it too. Not all its got going for it is Fosters, and the Adult Swim line-ups.
Damn sell outs!
