Goblin Hollow RPing
"Well.." says Will, "We do have three active groups..
Those here at the village, We defend our people and our records, along with engaging in productive activities like farming and smithing ect.
Those sent out on information gathering. You could almost call it recon. Documenting the Language, Culture, Geography and History of the peoples of the earth. They will typically get copies of documents and literature from where they go and bring it back here.
And the third group who's aim is to take a more active role in countering evil. This group does handle things like undead, but are not limited to just undead creatures.
This is not so much a matter of who, as it is a when. We each serve in all three capacities at different times in our lives. We also try to be as discrete as possible in all of these aspects. Though at times we are unable to be.
We will ocassionaly go back to an area where we have helped a community to learn that we have been mistaken for angels, or sometimes even devils, or other creatures of myth. "

The wolf stares at Deac, lips turning up in a silent warning snarl as the man reaches for his knives. Catching his eyes in his own, he breaks the stare to look at the knife, then back at Deac. Was it Deac's imagination, or did the wolf shake his head slightly at him as if to say, 'not a good idea.' ?
No time to ponder that as Nessa's lilting voice calls out cheerfully. "Greetings. I see you've met The Wolf, stranger." She shoots the wolf a little sharp look and the beast looks away as if bored. "Don't worry, he's no threat to you if you aren't to him." Nessa peeks over the stall as she perches on the stool set there for that purprose. "Is there anything I can help you folks with?"

“I just need spell materials. A small horn, a glass eye, some cat fur, some wool, some phosphorus, a glow worm tail, a drop of mercury, some glass beads, licorice root shavings, a soft glove, a clear crystal, a piece of cured leather, a piece of turtle shell, a piece of quartz, and a piece of straw.” he recites the entire list from memory again, only pausing for a breath.

Nessa gives full attention to the speaker, mentally taking down the order from the items she knows she had with her. "Well, now, a spell? Sounds like a varied one." She nods. "I'm sure you'll have no problem finding all of this in the market. I myself have available licorice root, cat fur, wool tufts..."
The wolf looks smug at the animals mentioned.
"... and dried glow worms. I can part with some leather pieces and I did pick up a turtle shell on my way in. Split in two, but still very handy."

John smirks at Deac's continual comments. Then with and evil grin he spins around hands glowing. With a quick swiping motion of his right hand he calls out “Telekinesis!”
Deac suddenly finds himself tripping over nothing. Chuckling, John turns back around.
“Hehe! So how much is *heh* that going to be? Hehehe!”

A little departure..
A juvinile male lion pads up beside the Wolf and greets it with a whuff.

The Wolf rrrfs a soft greeting in return as it sniffs at the Juvenile Lion, sitting up.
Behind the counter, Nessa can't help but chuckle at the pratical jokes passed between the two. She places several small pouches in a row on the counter, all with neat little labels. Besides these she pulls out the turtle shell and a nice strip of cured leather, big enough to make an arm cuff or two. "Well, now. All the dried stuff mentioned in these quantanties will be six coppers. Leather and the turtle shell is another five coppers. So... altogether eleven coppers, unless you have something else for trade?"
Staring at Deac, the wolf gives a nod and a nose wrinkle in agreement with the young lion.
