Well, the last Questor founded Freeman Downs, didn't he? Do we have a time in relation to the present day for the founding of the village?Kerry Skydancer wrote:Hmmm..... the Racona do live as long as two centuries. How long has it been since the last Questor?
I don't think that Rilcreek is the last one; Master Irons (The Artifactor's Guild master) makes a reference to Rilcreek selling his class plans to something, which gave me the impression it was done in Rilcreek's youth.
That and no Questor would ever let his sword get away unless he was A) Dead, B) Mind-wiped, or C) Trying to hide for some reason, and wanted people to think he was dead.
And I doubt C.
Well the only reference to Snakefang, Quentyn of Ridgedale's sword was the Replica that was in the room dedicated to the Questors in Santuary City.Bengaley wrote:

Actually I think he was doing more of a reference to one of the characters in that game... Though even though Glenn was turned into a frog-human (since it definitely couldn't be just a frog) he at least kept his personality, which shoots down Squidge being under a curse... at least that is what I think he meant.

someone as promenant as the founder of a town would definately not be forgetable by those within that same town, especially when you live as long as the rac cona do.
that in mind if Rillcreek were Q of R, the other elders would have pointed it out early in the story. odds are also that Q of FD would know about it as well.
personally I seriously think it's streatching it a bit far to say there is any correlation between Rillcreek and Quentyn of Ridgedale.
keep in mind that just as we have legends of samauri, knights, MacGuyver, etc. they have the questors of legend to look up to. most people are going to have a basic understanding of what one is (or was). Rillcreek is probably pretty old (he'd have to be to be an elder) and has heard a story or two that most haven't and combine that with his "freelance" time he would know a thing or two of value.
(and here's hoping Ralph doesn't shoot me down for talking too much about things I know nothing about)

I still say the doctor did it....
