Squidge fix EVVVVERYTHINNNNG (1/01)

Post by RedSquirrel456 »

Ha! Leave it to Squidge to pull something like that. Always handy to have a goofy sidekick to lighten the mood... or just screw you over farther than you already are in a humorous way, depending on the mood his parents are in.

Wonder if he was given the pie in thanks for the news he gave or just jumped in when he found it? And the fact he was let into the house at all. It's a sign that can be taken either way...

I love the exchange between them when Quent first finds him.

Hooooo BOY!!!! With "friends" like Squidge.......does Quentyn REALLY need any enemies? :D

Actually, ya gotta admire the little blue goober......he really does try to do the right thing..."right thing" here being very subjective, but he truely does think he's helping.

Wonder how he described Quentyn's "performance"?

And Quentyn's hand over his eyes......*thinks to self* "Oh Yeashu....what has he told them....?" Just perfect...

Wait a minute there, Squidge has been a real asset to Quentyn. He led him through the sewers to find the rat king and held off the wights when he lit the candle when he dropped the lantern, he came back to Quentyn when he was hurt and help him get to the surface and help. He worked as a translator for the brownies for Quentyn. He bailed Quentyn out of jail, went to Jail with Quentyn and then helped Quentyn in the alley fight with the Redcaps. He helped Quentyn make is way home by talking to Meribeth and now brought word to his parents on the goings on at the CoE. I would say Quentyn has a very good friend in Squidge and will come to understand it as things progress. :) :)

personally I don't think Squidge will get Quentyn in as much trouble as he could have been, if anything Squidge have merely let his mom and dad know that there is a lot to the story that they haven't heard yet.

then again, things haven't been going too well thus far...
I still say the doctor did it....

Yeah, I think that it's better this way. At least Quentyn doesn't have to worry about breaking the ice... and Squidge gets pie! :P

I think his mom might have a few things to say about the pie, if nothing else. :D

Yeah, something tells me that Squidge actually did fix everything.

Well...simply made it better. I don't think he was in near the trouble that he thought he was.

Sorry Jaydub......I was actually making a tongue-in-cheek comment. Sort of in the vein of "Lord, please deliver me from my well meaning friends."

And absolutely Squidge has been an invaluable asset to Quentyn....in NO way was I besmirching that fact.

My bad...

squidge sure has a kind heart....
and pretty brave also in his little squidgey way.
cause he hangs with a hero who has and will
get into dangerously sticky situations.
and to top it off he even sticks with him across country?
I am pretty sure squidge could'a made a nice living
back in the city somehow...
but no he stays with quentyn and trys to help
him as best he can in his own little ways?

either way I have much respect for the little shapeshifter.....
and plus he got to eat some pie...
wonder what kind it is???

The one that's perfect for a Bogey. Boo Berry.

Who knew Squidge could look so puppy-cute sitting in that pie? :)

I hope his complexion doesn't get pastry after this.

And you know what they say about them boo berries... one in the hand is worth two in the bushel.

I made a funny... sorta.

It's interesting to note

Post by Quantum Fox »

Originally the comic was supposed to be about non-player characters. The spear carriers, sidekicks and other folks on the sidelines in an adventure. From what I understand, Quentyn was started his conceptual existence as the 'cute fuzzy critter'. I think it's interesting to note just how far into the lime light he has come. The sidekick now has his own sidekick.

I think that is a paddling right there. :o
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.
