That too, but the main idea is the helpless anticipation waiting for that 'Galagher' moment. Very nasty as a form of torture.Wallaroo_Blacke wrote:That would hurt... havin soap in

Oh its even worse than that.
The wizard was a High Elf, slightly tweaked from the stadard elf that we used, nothing unbalancing, just shifted some bonuses around.
ANyway, he has a book full of spells that are mostly.... explosive.... in nature, and he ad the cleric like to get drunk together, well, usually this is followed by an encounter with a dwarf, who said Elf really disliked, (hate is too strong a word, think of the G-man and Lego-Ham in the begining of the Fellowship) which, usually resulted in said dwarf throwing first punch...
Which then was followed by the drunken elf instinctually trying to cast a spell.
Now, I know there are some that say 'he's drunk, he can't spellcast' should be the rule, but our GM.... he had a bit of a slapstick side to him. He always demanded a list of the spells the Elf had prepared, and had worked out a random system, so, whenever the Elf tried to cast drunk, we had NO IDEA WHAT SO EVER what he would cast.
Unfortunately, most the time it was his favored spell, fireball....
We paid for three bars in four gaming sessions once it got so bad, and, we could never go to a certain contact ever agan because he forever after had a phobia of anything with pointed ears....
