They're useful in that you can have a quick response, in a popular enough chan, quickly if you have a sincere question in one of the areas they have expertise in. I suppose any of the random boards they have are also useful if you feel like being a total ass and shouting stuff for a while without incrimination but I get pissed seeing the little racist white boys from inbred towns going at it with their propaganda. Not very fun, but wah, whadda I know? I'm a stupid spic.

Watch actual episodes of Lazy town instead of joining in the discussions about it there. Then you'll have an addiction of equal power to take over your time.

You know, I don't even get the impression that they're actually racists. I think the people posting all that racist crap to 4chan are more or less what are refered to as "South Park Conservatives".

Young stupid white kids who think it's clever and funny to go around yelling "nigger" because conventional wisdom says it's not a good thing to go around calling people "nigger". Sort of like the teen kids who go "Ha ha! Look at me, I'm smoking a cigarette when everyone says that smoking is bad for you, I'm such a rebel. LOL!"

Genuine racists would not just post the propaganda cartoons but they'd go off on long diatrabs detailing how the jew is using the black as muscle to keep the white man down and the liberals to keep whitey from fighting back. On 4chan what you see is one of the propaganda cartoons posted with "nigga r suxxorz! LOL!" which to me suggests stupid teen kid who thinks acting racist makes him "extreme" and "on the edge" and "in your face". Someone too young and inexperienced to understand that shock alone doesn't equal humour. As someone who uses shock for humour purposes I think I can say with some authority that there's a world of difference between posting a picture of dick-nipples and using dick-niples in context to deliver a joke. They're both shock, but only one is funny.

The bright hopeful point is most of them will grow out of it and as age and experience grants upon them more wisdom they'll understand the crucial difference and they'll realize what a bunch of witless prats they were in their youth.

Well, I think I have seen the genuine ones as well as the ones who think they're edgy for posting a tasteless toon or spouting off whatever slur they care to use. eh. *shrug*

That song is so fcking awesome and catchy. Now it is mixing in my head with "Everyone else has had more sex than me"

I SO want to be in/famous to the point where I have flash musicvids made about me and passed around on the net by people I don't know.

That's... Like, my new goal.

That's why I want to be famous; I want to be in editorial political cartoons.

That's true! With it's strangely creepy mixture of pink haired girls, foam rubber puppets, Eurotrash heroes and villains, and of course bad techno dance music, Lazy Town is the most addictive show out there since Angela Anaconda (sheer brilliance! I should really look for it on DVD...) or re-runs of the old Degrassi. (Not that "Next Generation" crap. "Next Generation" is only good for Star Trek, and that was only because of Picard. Certainly not Riker, that's fo effin' sure. At any rate, oh, Caitlan, how I still pine for thee! And Spike grew up all hawt! which says something, because remember that ridiculous hair? This all leaves me wondering, however, what happened to Liz?)

Ah Lazy Town. My daughter loves that show.

I like watching it to see Sporticus flip out. The guy just can't walk anywhere, he's gotta be flipping out like he was a ninja or something. What an attention whore.

The pink haired girl definetly has a case of Minmei syndrom. "Listen to my new song... which is incidently the exact same song as my old song right down to the lyrics."

Oh... that Minmei syndrome... I thought you meant the "I'm a Dirty slut everybody wants to bang, and I'll never die cause I have script immunity" Minmei Syndrome.

And is it just me, or is the Dude with the vinyl face got a serious Bruce Cambel thing going on...

I'm surprised no one's gone to You're the man now, Dog and created something along these lines.

Of course, I just discovered these forums, and this topic obviously, so there might be something like this elsewhere....

fgsfds is a series of image macros that spawned from an image of a talkshow host pointing his finger up with a bunch of randomly chosen letters. It doesn't mean anything in particular other than you posting it when you have nothing of interest to add up in a discussion. I will post some when I get home.

Tripfag is how you refer to someone who uses tripcodes, seeing as at 4chan anonymous posting is largely encouraged, by both peers and administrators.

Why would everyone encourage anonymous posting?

No incrimination, lose yourself and become the post more so than a speaker. There are tons of reasons.
