Pierce is looking PISSED

Post by Nyamaza »

I mean, honestly... Thus far, Pierce has taken this whole event in a very "oh god, what now" attitude/expression. but in today's final panelhe seems to have gone into full out pissed mode. honestly, if he were Rick/Jake's child, with that look, I'd be worried that if he woke up right then, HE'D be the one going on an evil-maniac destruction spree.

I think the look is coming mainly from the colorings around his eyes. The sharp diagonal line forming the center of his face is reminiscent of the traditional "angry eyebrow slant >:(" Coupled with the half-smile, half-frown smirkish expression, and overall it's making him look like he's about to snap in an evil/sadistic way.

internal thought conjecture: "Oh, let me out of this, and I'll SHOW you Terribly interesting."

Sometimes, a fresh look from an outsider can reveal things. Alice is raising a very valid point, and perhaps Pierce should re-examine his relationship with Rhonda. After all, Saundra would have nothing to do with Volair for almost all the duration of Umlaut House 1...

Terribly interresting things happening, life immitating art is expected, but the reverse results in things that often make my head implode. The simulation truly seems to have taken a turn for the worse.

A paradigm shifting without a clutch.

I think Pierce already knows what's going on and has just tried, unsuccessfully, to change the focus twice. Alice seems to be too smart to let him get away with it, though.

I had a lot of fun writing this sequence. Too bad Pierce doesn't get to have much fun living it.
