Malcolm: Now with Comics!

Post by Davidleetoon »

Halloa all. Since I originally (and foolishly) plugged with 3 or 4 comics, I thought I'd plug again now that I hit the 20 minimum. You can read the original thread here

My comic "Malcolm" is about all the various things that happen to Malcolm (the main character) his best friend Max, Max's sister Alexis, and her boyfriend Ricky. Since it's a comic about kids and I'm still pretty much a kid (I'll be 16 in a month) I have plenty of material.

So here it is:

I've been dropping by usually once a week to check this little feller out. He's a bit of fun and I usually enjoy the stuff he gets up to. For me some of the strips and the humour attempted in them are a little simplistic (in that they could be finetuned a bit further, not in a negative sense) but that area of your work will develop with practice.

I'd really suggest you attempt to update more often than once a week. With the simple style you use, three days a week is probably more appropriate for the time the drawing takes. I know you're still in school, but that's no real excuse! I'm still in school and I'm running the game, so you can find time if you look.

This shows a lot of potential if you stick with it and develop it further.

Good luck with it.

Cheers.
Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed
longer than it was, and tomorrow was always another game away?

Yeah I agree. You're style isn't overly complex, so doing more than one update a week might be a good idea. Also, since one strip seems to lead into the next, it would make a lot more sense not to keep your fans waiting.
