How did you get your photoshop?

Just curious. Did you buy it, download it? Bootlegged it? What?

My original PS6 was actually my father's. The PS7 I have now was indeed, (edit: NOT) pirated. (Along with my flash, dreamweaver and illustrator)

I'm about to purchase a PSCS and Illustrator package in a couple weeks.

Note- making a topic asking people if they have illegal software or not isn't exceptionally sensible..

do you think alot of people pirate photoshop? cuz everyone has it, but claims that they're too cheap to buy certain things.

since Keen and the admins disapprove of the pirating of any software, I'm not sure this is quite the topic anyone should really be disscussing.

my first version was a legal photoshop elements v1 which i still use for animating.

a mouse gave me the other. along with some fruit snacks.

I thought I had a pirated copy of Photoshop like every cool Internet rebel, but months later I found out it was just the Gimp. What a gyp.

Hm, being how lots of people probably got their 'Shop illegaly and pirating software or incouraging it is not welcomed on this forum (so say the rules) I think it is better if I lock this thread now.
