...I'm back with new songs! Voice isn't in top form just yet, but we're getting better, and I felt like recording.

For Rock: Ventura Highway -> This song was a little hard because... Well, frankly, I don't think it fits my voice very well. Tried to do my best, so hope you like it.

For RA: Breathe -> The original is so much more beautiful. *sigh* But I loved singing this song. Wish my voice had been in a better condition though. Oh well.

Coming soon to a forum thread near you:

-> "Octopus Garden" - Beatles (for Vorticus)
-> "Friends in Low Places" - Garth Brooks (for Mrs Kolter)
-> "Deeper than a holler" - Randy Travis (Dedicated to Mr Kolter by Mrs Kolter)
-> "Making Love Out of Nothing At All" - Air Supply (for Mrs Kolter)
-> "Cheek To Cheek" - Eva Cassidy (for Levi)
-> "Bizarre Love Triangle" - Frente (for KeyMonkey)
-> "Psycho Killer" - Talking Heads (for Claude)
-> "I Don't Know How To Love Him" - Sarah Brightman and/or "Take My Breath Away" - Berlin (for M2)
-> "In My Life" - The Beatles (for Corgan)
-> "Cekaj me" (for McDuffies)
-> "Wake Me When December Ends" - Green Day (for Beth Kolter)
-> "3 Libras" - A Perfect Circle (for CorpseFiend)
-> "Top Of The World" - The Carpenters (for KeyMonkey, err, his sister)
-> "I Shot The Sheriff" - Eric Clapton (for Rock Dash)

...I lied. :oops:

I ignored the order on the list for a second to make a song I really felt like rehearsing and recording just now.

It's a really nice SERBIAN SONG, written by our very own McDuffies. I don't know a squid about Serbian pronounciation, so I had to listen to his record over and over and over again to try and pick up the right pronounciation... After I was done recording my version and listened to it again, I could totally hear that I'm mispronouncing several places... but... I spent hours on this, and I don't think my Serbian will get better anytime soon. So. After this whole long speech (and you've probably stopped reading by now), I'll give you... the link!

For McDuffies: Cekaj me ("Wait for me")

Download and enjoy.

I'll get a few hours of sleep now, dammit. >_<

:D
*Downloads the speediest he can*

Edit:
It sounds very interesting, though, for most, it's correct pronuncation (apart from "r"). I noticed that you had tough time to remember "obala". :wink:
It's great hearing such nice voice sing my song, really.

That one was a request though.. Bob gets a song no one asked for. :P

I made this one for you though: Panty cat

Annnnd while I'm at it.. I made a whole bunch of records. Most of them were not requested, but you know me. :oops: I wasn't gonna post any before next week, but I'm up to 12 new songs now, and figured it would be smarter to post some now and more songs next week, seeing as downloading takes some time, and rapidshare has limits for how many songs you can download in an hour...

First of all, the ones from the request list:

For Mrs. Kolter, dedicated to Mr. Kolter: Deeper Than The Holler (not one of my better records I'm afraid :? )
And also for Mrs. Kolter: When December Ends (You know, it was really hard not to sing "September"... It happened two or three times so I had to re-record. :wink: )

For Vorticus: Octopus' Garden (turned out somewhat mediocre)

For KeyMonkey: Bizarre Love Triangle (This record I'm a little happy with, though it's not quite perfect; I think it fits my voice.)

And now... What can I say. I'm a recordwhore? :P
I sorted them in the order of which ones I like the best.

Another Lonely Day (Ben Harper) - It's a reeeeaally sappy 'n' sad lovesong, but for some reason, it's one of my favourite records so far. Maybe because I've had some of those lonely days lately...

Change (Tracy Chapman) - I adore Tracy Chapman, and this is from her latest cd. Liked how this one turned out, though Tracy Chapman pwnes me big time. :wink:

The Humpty Dumpty Lovesong (Travis) - Travis is one of my favourite bands, and this song is so sweet I had to record it... Boohooo, Cookie makes too many heartache songs...... ;_;

Do You Sleep? (Lisa Loeb) - No I don't sleep... enough. You all know that. Lisa Loeb is also on the list of songwriter-singers I enjoy listening too, though she hasn't made anything new for a while now... This song isn't very famous I think, but I like it.

Ain't No Sunshine (Bill Whithers) - This one I only just recorded today, unrequested, for Mr Kolter, what with his whole being gone for two weeks thing...

Falling In Love (Lisa Loeb) - I just really like the lyrics in the chorus because... well... Love sucks. *goes emo*

Ain't That Just The Way (Lutricia McNeal) - Wanted to try making an acoustic version of an R'n'B song... turned out okay, but now great.

So you see, I've been a busy girl. :D

The new list:

-> "Cheek To Cheek" - Eva Cassidy (for Levi)
-> "Psycho Killer" - Talking Heads (for Claude)
-> "I Don't Know How To Love Him" - Sarah Brightman and/or "Take My Breath Away" - Berlin (for M2)
-> "In My Life" - The Beatles (for Corgan)
-> "3 Libras" - A Perfect Circle (for CorpseFiend)
-> "Top Of The World" - The Carpenters (for KeyMonkey, err, his sister)
-> "I Shot The Sheriff" - Eric Clapton (for Rock Dash)

Beth, I can't do "Making love out of nothing at all". I tried, but my voice isn't capable of making it sound good. ;__;

...and I just realized I've made 79 records so far... Holy Carp!

Anyone know of any better hosts for these kind of files than rapidshare? It's almost impossible for me to use rapidshare.
