Bleak and morbid (Aug 15)

Post by Mwalimu »

Is it just me, or does Ben seem a tad indifferent to what Lily is telling him about Penny? "I took care of Casanova, so now I'm outa here."

Or maybe this is just the cue we've been waiting for. "Enter posse, stage left."

Trust me, as someone with a teenage sister-in-law, I'd do the exact same thing. Besides, what's it going to help if he sticks around and hears how horrible it is to have 3 squares a day and roof over her head?

Considering what I wrote when I was in my late teens, I would show the same amount of concern as Ben. Nothing like almost dying to stop being morbid. :)

There seems to be little doubt that Penny is repressing certain parts of her personality. Do you suppose those parts may soon find another way to emerge?

Considering how Ben managed to pop out Mortly, imagine what Penny might pop out to express her repressed side.
What form might her innate cheerfullness and sunshine take?
Could you imagine anything worse for a goth than to have their inner pollyanna take physical form?
On the other hand, she is now confined to quarters. In a large house containing tulpi she isn't suposed to know about, but has begun suspecting.
And don't forget, the house also has a history for mysterious goings on that has never been plumbed. Perhaps it shall be Penny who discovers the secret of Lovecraft Manor.

Personally, I'm still hoping she gets stuck with an animated smile button or a kitten tulpa on a triple sugar buzz. :D
yah, i'm mean and nasty. so?
You can fool some of the people all of the time
And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

I've got a suspicion about that. Although I would suspect that Velvet 2.0 would make an appearance, it wouldn't surprise me if she manifests a tulpa, that it would be a cute little skunk.
Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defence. :shucks:

I have some SMILEX gas somewhere around here.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.
