August 12...What Can I Say?

Post by Mikhail Dragoslav »

....I still can't think of anything to say. Oh wait, something's coming...Oy gevalt!!! :o :o

I suppose we knew it was coming, but man come on! Yeesh...

I wonder how many people will pick up on the Godot gag.

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Well, I got the "San Pantalones" bit, he he he....

And yes, we all saw this one coming. Though I wonder: if Quentyn tripped on the broom, and fell **just inside the curtain**, how did he end up at the end of the "runway"? Didn't he hear the announcement and realise where he was?

Okay... he's either going to have a burst of inspiration at finding himself in the one place where he's appropriately dressed and ad lib his way out of the mess, or Meribel's going to yell 'Quentyn??' and he'll die of embarrassment.

Even in my worst "no pants" nightmare, I never lost my underwear, and I certainly wasn't on stage!

This has the potential of doing permanent psychological damage to Quentyn.

I think my favorite part is the second to last frame where there is a slight pause where everything is silent as the grave. An infinate second passes and.....click.

Ralph.......

This is just plain cruel :( ......give the kid a break.......please?

Unless.........Quentyn's actually unconcious on the floor of the room he fell thru the roof into, and everything, the jail (again) the beating etc all the way up to this is actually a dream sequence.

And if it's NOT a dream....I have to agree with TGIF.......a reasonably shy country farm boy, raised with what appears, as far as we've seen, to be a good moral and conservative upbringing, suddenly finding himself alone on a stage, stark naked in front of an audience :o  ......that it could have permanant psychlogical consequences is the mother of all understatements.

And Kerry....her name is MeriBETH.

And....just to fly in the face of Murphy.....I'll go ahead and ask:

"SO....how much worse can it get NOW???

Ooooooo I know....I know.......his PARENTS are there too!!!! (Our hero dies of heart failure)
We are NOT surrounded.....this is a "target rich" environment!

And given the way things have gone so far.......wanna place a bet on which one Ralph has in store for our poor hero?

Okay, the next person who asks that question gets a trout smack!

OKAY EVERYONE! Let's just calm down. Yes it's a pity that he suddently stands there, but hey, it's a comic, there's no reason to get that agitated by it. I think it's cruel to, but I don't think that it should have been made in any other way. Mainly because this was what RH wanted to do with it, and it's his comic and his decision to make.

I do hope, however, that Quentin wakes up, saying "That was my worst nightmare ever!"

Ah, I wouldn't worry 'bout it. It shall turn out alright in ze end. You just have to look at it optimistically despite the...hundreds of eyes staring at him when he is lacking clothes...

Wow.

Well, I'm still sure something good is bound to happen at this point, no worries.

I bet it ends with cheering for some reason...

This is why the world has pyschiatrists. And this in particular is why they have nicer houses than us.
