Never draw for him again, and force him to wear the BADGE OF SHAME.

Do you have the original he's gypping you on?

Yup- I'm adding stinky baggy diapers to it.

I have learnt my lesson. Get these things in writing and hand over the finished file after payment. I AM SUCH AN IDIOT!

You wouldn't happen to know which direction I should aim the orbital cannon would you?

Or we could kick him in the mcDuffies.

And draw pictures of "El Gigante" performing various unspeakable acts to him!

You can also give out copies of the original art and put it up on the net, making his special twisted-your-arm to get it from you copy much less special.

Unless the content's pretty exclusive to him, then stinky baggy diapers are a good way to go!

Or...have him visited by Gimp-man!

I can only do this because the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. ;_;

We need a ComicGenesis committee on assassinations.

You know, one of the martial arts I used to study was ninjutsu.

Revenge is over-rated. Just file a lawsuit and alert the press.

Send him a dead fish in the mail, from an undisclosed address.

The next day, send him another dead fish.

The third day, send him a plastic fish with a note appologizing for not having a third dead fish, but promising something really aweful next tuesday.

... The following sunday, drop a letter in the mailbox to him with the word

GOTCHA!

In big letters on it.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.

It's your work, you can do whatever you want with it. Sell it, turn it into a computer wallpaper, give it away as a prize for best fanart... You put the time and effort into the piece, you deserve to get something out of it.

Oh, and mention to your artist friends that this guy stiffs people and they should think twice before working on anything for him.

I vote for the dead fish.

Just make sure he doesn't like dead fish in his mail first.
Haughty spirit and pride make for a wild roller coaster ride!

Mark Evanier has a good article about people who don't want to pay for artistic work. They're unfortunately common.

That site is awesome! I like how the tricks range from merely annoying to life-ruining.

After reading your suggestions I feel much better. I'm just going to chalk it up to experience- It's better to learn this lesson now then in ten years.
