Can't read comics

Post by TigerLily »

 I haven't been able to read anything for at least 3 weeks now...Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem? I miss my comics terribly and would like to read them again!! If anyone knows what's going on, please post back.

Thank You!

Err.. could you be more specific? Are you having trouble accessing the pages? Are you getting blank images? Something else?

If its blank images, then consult this page: http://gear.keenspace.com/ensign/Images.html

When I put the name of a comic in the search bar, all I get is "Error 404". Previously when I put the comic in, I would at least get a seperate page like the search had been successful but there would be no comic present.

Wait, you mean the search function in the guide? Well, all scripts (including the one used by search) have been disabled for the time being.

For now, you can use google to find your comics:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q ... =&safe=off

Or you can look for them in the guide:
http://guide.comicgenesis.com/

Stupid Question: Why don't you just bookmark your favorite comics?

There is actually another search box somewhere... http://guide.keenspace.com/search.php

hmm looks like it's just showing the most recent updates.

I'll see if I can tweak it.

:D Thank You!! I should be able to catch up now....as for bookmarking the comics, I have so many that I read and love I think my husband would freak at the super long list...

I think I will, however, pick like my top 5 or something and do that.

Thank You again for the help!

Ah! Well, might I introduce you to The Webcomic List? Not only does this nifty site let you save your favorite comics (through its built-in favorites feature), but it also keeps track of when those comics update!

Oh, and NP.

And to top it off, this list works on visits, not on votes. In other words, every time you access a comic you like through thewebcomiclist.com, it improves this comic's rating. :)

Wow, I don't know if that site was a blessing or a curse... I think I've tripled my comic list in just searching for the comics I like. There are a few comics that can't be found there, but that's ok since I can find them here. Again, thank you so much!! I'm very happy to have been re-acquainted with the comics I loved before but now I'm finding so many others I enjoy too. :D
