First comic = "nosteal"? :(

Post by Amtekoth »

:(
For some reason, my customized "nosteal.jpg" image is taking the place of my first comic. ( http://labbratz.keenspace.com/d/20050305.html ). When I look at the properties of the image, it's the same name as my first comic, which it shouldn't be. All my other comics in the archive look fine. This all worked okay a couple of days ago.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

More fun than you should ever have in a laboratory. We are not related to the Bratz toy line owned by MGA.

Okay, that's weird.

I just refreshed the page and the image changed back to the original comic right before my eyes.

Oh, the strangeness of the Net.

For some reason, your browser didn't send the proper referrers the first time. When you refreshed, it did it properly. Alternatively, you had tried to view the first comic separately from the page before, causing the nosteal image ot be sent (due to the invalid headers). Your browser then cached the file. When you viewed the page, it then loaded from the cache, but it reloaded the actual file when you refreshed.
