New Update Schedule Starting in September

Post by Allan_ecker »

Starting in September, UH2 is going to go where its predecessor did: biweekly.

As before, the embarassment of riches of my buffer guilt-tripped me into going biweekly (without going biweekly, I have at least penciled comics clear out to January), but also I do this because I can't wait to show you guys some of the plot I've concocted.

So why wait until September? Well, let's just say I don't want to run out of buffer if I get hit by a major project or something. Remember, here at Umlaut House we value consistency of updates above most other things.

Oh, and I REALLY have to do a site redesign.

Like, BIG TIME.

What, no fanfare? No ticker-tape parades? No lynch mobs for me not going biweekly sooner?

Apparently I picked the right update schedule to minimize reaction. :-?

*pats the Allan on his pretty little head* There, there, Allan. 'S not much controversy in the statement and, since I think it is agreeable to everyone, no one is about to say "boo" about it. People tend to react more when they feel they are putting something witty forward or reacting rather negatively against something said.

I appreciate it. I'm sure the others do as well. But where would we have the parade? You'll just have to settle for something else. Here, the Allan, have a trophy. Image

*bakes Allan a plate of brownies* I gave a vocal WOOHOO! when I read this, but beyond that I didn't have much really to say. I love the faster update scheduel (I had kept faith, and never removed UH from my "check on fridays" folder.

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant when I said "minimize reaction". If I'd said "this week", people'd post to cheer. If I'd said "january", people'd post to gently complain.

Aw, you guys are the greatest! Have some broody beefcake!

AND, Allan, you posted on a Friday and reacted on a Monday. Comics go up on Tuesday. Those of us who read the forums right after the comic just saw the post today.

But, you get a Yay! from me.

Preachin' to the choir, Allan. I'm religiously checking the RP forum as a mod for Scix... A place where you still have a character, matter of fact.

Eh, so did I, really. Isn't that right, pet?

Oh, come on, you honestly didn't think my intentions in creating such a being were honorable, did you?

Since you didn't mention one way or the other with the kitty, can Jarylan and I borrow your skunkboi? We promise to return him safe and walking akwardly.

*stares at banana, glances at Allan, stares at banana again* "Honorable," you say. That reminds me of a joke that was featured recently in Scott Kurtz' "PvP" which I'll just provide thislink for instead of butchering it here. Poit!
