There is not a day that goes by when I kick myself for all the missed chances..... I hope what's going on now isn't one of them....

I feel no bitterness for the love Kat and shirlee have for each other. Maybe a bit of envy, but I am hoping for my day, where I will have someone just as special to me as shirlee is to Kat.

Yes, it does. I've been there too. I am 50 and have only known my squirrel girl for 25 years. Most of the time before that i was alone. She is the only one I have been intimate with. My early twenties was pretty painful.
