Unwelcome Guests

Apparently Lily's sister went from Britney Spears-type tramp to Goth. This is going to be interesting. She'll probably add to the scary decor.
There is something to be said for competent silence.

Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

"Just for a week or two..."

Bull.

A: This is a comedy. Anytime someone says that in a comedy it means they'll never leave (or at least severely overstay their welcome)

B: I've HAD guests like this. "Just lemme stay a couple days till I sort things out." Three months later he's still mooching off me.

If they want her out at some point, they are going to have to throw her to the curb.
^ the above was me sounding like I know WTF I'm talking about.

What would happen if her exposure to the posse brings out some tulpas of her own?

Or her (existing) tulpas meet Ben's posse?

Hey, if she's shifting identities like that, the girl probably has plenty of issues.

What actually makes me twinge and grimace here are the replies to this comic. I cannot help but feel a bit sorry for Penny, simply cause of the replies some of you have given to the strip. . Am I saying she

I'm holding off until I know more about the situation. She might be a self-centered grown-up brat like... an un-named member of my "extended family unit"... or she may have a real problem. I dunno.
Either way, there's plenty of room for plot complications. That's the important thing.

Thats true, does her face not just declare, "trouble brewing"? Btw, I kind of like the way she looks.

You know what would be a refreshing change of pace? Contrary to being your stereotypical Comic Strip Problem Teenager(tm), she actually has nothing to do with the problem at hand - she just looks surly 'cause she's pissed off at having been unceremoniously kicked out of (what she sees as) her own house while her parents deal with an entirely unrelated issue. ;)

Are you so sure that it's an "unrelated issue"? She could be the "minor problem" Lily mentioned.

Either way, I have a feeling that the minor problem isn't that minor....very few 'minor' problems that would force a teen from thier house.

All she needs is a good trip through the washing machine.

I don't think SirBob was "sure" of anything -- he suggested that if this were the case, it would be refreshing, since Penny's being the problem would be the usual and expected thing.
