How long a wait to get on Keenspace?

Post by Arvo »

How long does it take after you submit your application to Keenspace, to get approved and start uploading your comics?

Both times I signed up it took about two weeks before I could use my account.

It absolutely should... thank you for that

As for your question it might take awhile.... as in over a month... it certainly did for my comic.... but it's worth it......

funny thing, I never actually requested a keenspace account, it just came up and jumped me from behind.

All of a sudden I'm making comics.

Mine only took eight days. :D

Still long enough for me to go mad with anticipation, read the entire FAQ thread and all of the Gear, and build up a buffer of forty comics. *impatient*

Yeah.. seriously... I forget how long I waited but I had like twenty pages done by the time I got my account.

...and then another three months in order to understand what the hell "keencodes" were.

Someone offered me a deal on a timeshare condo, and before I knew it, I was chained to a desk drawing webcomics. Those early days are a haze of beatings and pain, but I think it was a week or two total.

The current wait is 7-10 days. Give a few days for DNS to clear after that, and you should have access. More than 14 deserves you bugging me or Kisai.

I built a mighty buffer, then applied, three weeks latter I get the account and take a week to learn how to use the thing, two months latter my buffer of thirty comics is down to two......
I don't update so often any more.

Bah, the youth of today is spoiled! In OUR day we when we signed up, we would have to live in a shoebox, in the middle of the road, until our signups came through, which could take the good half of a decade, and each morning in the waiting period Kisai would beat us up with her mallet and have us work on comics 26 hours a day - if we were lucky!
