The droids were evil. When Palpatine got complete control she shut them down so he'd appear as if he were the good guy in the galaxy. His army, after all, stopped the droids. I don't think the general public was aware he shut the droids down. In their opinion his army defeated the droid army and he is a hero.

Oooooh. Okay. That makes sense now! :D

God, I really hope not.

They need to leave it alone, or make some more movies of what happens in the generation ~after~ Return of the Jedi. Lemme see Han and Leia's kid, by golly.

Pointless Ressurection.
I just watched it again and I thought it would have been better if they had done this:

If Star Wars III doesn't have sombreros, I'm gonna complain to the theatre owner...

Kids. Plural. According to the Expanded Universe, they end up having three. (One set of twins and one other kid.)

Is it wrong that I suddenly feel the urge to have Bob's love child?

First you'd have to go through a certain little surgical intervention...

The only question I have is this: What happened to the whole droid army? They're obviously not present in the other three... :-?
Emperor orders them all shut down near the end... >_>
The battle droids were meant from the beginning to be completely incompetent. The clones were meant to win. So the droids were disposed of once they had fulfilled their usefulness.

I always wondered how the Dutch would handle that... Laughing for hours straight seems pretty fair to me.

By the way: George Lucas did actually chose the name "Vader" due to its Dutch meaning.

And I finally saw the movie. After being so heavily dissapointed by Ep. I and II, I was stunned by its actual "Star Wars" feel; and the fact that it was a good movie as well makes it the one of the new episodes that I would willingly watch again.
Given the way the emperor said "I'll call you... Darth VADER!!!" I assume he also knew it meant Father in dutch. A Jedi with a pregant wife! Shocking! Let's rub it in by calling him Vader!

Bob... no.

Speaking of odd English use in Star Wars...

When Obi Wan said, "Only Sith deal in absolute!" he used an absolute.

No way man, Palpatine was all into moral relativism before that, but Lucas can't even keep track of his own frigging script.
