Is that Quentyn's sword in the blue wrap (or anywhere else among his possessions that just got lifted)? If so, that thief could be in for a big surprise in short order.

Quentyn got a raw deal in the shuffle but that joker is going to get trumped by a Wildcard.

Maybe Quintyn is going to have to put himself in danger to play the hearts suit and rune the theif's plans

im kinda hoping the theif gets away, puts the sword into his treasure chest and then has his entire stash float back to quentyn.

I think that'd be a suitable punishment

Doesn't matter how fast or slow Quentyn is in pursuit.
If Wildcard is in that pack, the thief just stole the equivelant of a GPS tracking unit.

Be kinda fun to chase 'im, though.

The thief can pull off every trick in the book, only to have Quentyn constantly showing up, just behind him. Not even out of breath.

Of course, Quentyn being a good guy, he'll want to get the sword away from the thief before the thief actually tries to draw or use it.

On the other hand, if Wildcard is in the pack, and if Quentyn can call it to him, that's gonna be one surprised thief when he finds himself being dragged backwards towards his victim!

Y'know, Quentyn's sword used to be about the same color as that guy's scarf. The sword has slowly shifted toward magenta.

Heh, maybe the guy wants the sword to go with his scarf.

Just how resistant is the sword? Will it just shock the theif like it did with Irons or with prolonged "contact" will it become more and more defensive, even lethal? One thing is certain, the theif made a dumb move...its gonna hurt 'im. Good job noticing the boots. Is it just me or does the thief look a little young?

Or, what would be pretty funny, is that the thief tries to attack Quentyn with the sword and something like soap bubbles appear. So he gets it back when the thief finds out how useless it can be.

I'm guessing it's actually somebody we know all garbed in thief gear... either that or it's a new character! Gasp of gasps!

Even worse, or better, the sword could go berserk and fry the thief in full view of everyone, and possibly do something to Quent's reputation...

Actually it looks like the thief got both Quentyn's travel bag as well as his sword. If the sword was wrapped in silk for travel, that might dampen some of its bonding effects, once its unsheathed though,...

The travel bag would be the biggest nuisance to lose, though.

Now, will our little hero be able to bring his boots into play before the mysterious thief disappears into the crowd?
